What's Happening Now!

Women Build Chili Cook-off '08 was a great event and I send a big thank you to those who assisted in making this such a success.  Thanks to all our sponsors and chili cooks who braved the cold winds for a fun day.   We will be looking for ides for a Fall event.  Call me, Rosemary Harris 943-7268  and let me know your ideas.

The 9th Annual Women Build is currently scheduled for March 29th, 2008, 7:00 am  on Spring Run Road in Fairhope!  Our work schedule will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 8:00 am start time.
Please Call Lu Schmidt @ 251-978-0677 if you would like more information about The Next Meeting of the Women Build Committee!

On Friday May 9th, 2008, the 10th Annual Habitat for Humanity Golf Outing sponsored by Bonner, Landreau, Kingrea LLC and organized by Realty Executives- Gulf Coast, will be held at Cotton Creek at Craft Farms.  This fundraiser is critical to the Habitat organization, which builds homes for families in substandard housing right here in Baldwin County. The only way you can support this event is by playing golf.  This event offers a 4 person scramble and if you don't have a team, we can put you on one!  The cost to play is only $100.00 per player.  Your donation for sponsorship is tax deductible and goes a long way in helping others achieve a dream of owning their own home. Any questions please call Lacie Maynard 968-7925 or [ email ].

More than 350 Habitat houses have been built in the United States by women crews, 8 of them have been in Baldwin County!
